It would be nice if most GUI elements could be activated using standard Swing keyboard methods (like
mnemonics, tab-group, etc).

Updated: now menus can have a mnemonic (KeyStroke) that is
automatically associated with them. Mnemonics are for now
hard-coded.

The updated JHotDraw allows using the keyboard to move
components in the canvas, but the mouse is still necessary
to select the component.
