I've been using jOpt for a while, as it was freeware, and was relatively good at reducing jar sizes. Last night, I decided I should give jarg a whirl, as jarg hasn't fallen off the edge of the Internet yet (where as JOpt seems to have disappeared).
I was impressed. I'm getting an average ot 4K+ jar size reductions above and beyond what jOpt was generating for my larger Jars. I've not run it through a profier though. Just thought people might be interested in a comparison between jarg and jOpt.

iam just wondering how much size reduction in Jvm memory usage everyone is getting after using JarG
i have used JarG and It did a great job reducing the size of my Jar by 25 % but i could not see visible improvement in the JVM memory print .
