The first time I stared the program. The open file dialog
was just fine. The second and third time I opened the
dialog, the CPU usage went up to 100% and the dialog did not
open. (No error is shown in the "dos"-window...)

Sometimes the open-button in the toolbar does not work at
all. The CPU useage stays a 0% and nothing happens. It is
possible to use the open commmand from the menu bar, though...
