Thank you for your interest in Jaffa. Jaffa is still an active project with at least 4 full time developers working on it, and other part time contributors. Infact activity has been peeking in the last few months with the v1.2 release (see http://sourceforge.net/project/stats/index.php?report=months&group_id=39497) We are weeks away from a v1.3 release which includes key updates for Struts 1.1 support. We have already started development on the v2.0 branch so yes, it is active and growing. As for documentation, we try our best to put useful content out there, but we need voulenteers and feedback. What kind of documentation were you expecting? What are you having trouble with. Try posting your questions to the Jaffa-users mail list. We do have a building block 'SampleApp' that shows how to get started with a project, and we're working on a second app to demonstrate how all the new Struts 1.1 and Tiles features can be used with Jaffa. You can check either of these out from CVS. Have you managed to get the sample app up and working yet? There are currently applications written on Jaffa in production at large Fortune 100 compaines, as well as other key enterprise applications under development with Jaffa, so its pretty much here to stay Right now the underlying architecture is pretty mature, what we are keen to focus on is building a community arround the pattern engine, so people can share various component patterns based on Jaffa. Thanks PaulE mar...@o2... wrote: I found you Jaffa project very interesting but it totally lacks of samples, and is poorly documented. Is the project still under developement? How intensive is the work so? Best regards, Martello Jaffa Group Java Application Framework For Aerospace jaf...@ya... http://jaffa.sf.net --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!?
