So,
0.0.3 is released, or better: was released last week.
The major changes happened inside the code, the only real change for the user is the added support for setting the field-type of a colum.
One or two bugs were found in the mean-time which will be fixed soon.
About the next steps I want to go I have to think twice, because the HSQLDB-Project asked me, if I don't want to change the db-core to there.
That would mean less work for me, but nearly all the work done, especially the two rewrites I did (0.0.2 and 0.0.3), had been senseless.
The next steps I want to go with jadaba are:
- adding field-types (String, Number, Date, Boolean, ...)
- adding queries (SELECT)
- adding some first SQL-Commands
- planing scripting-language
Because some already wanted to help at that point I hope that beside the steps above the project will get support for connecting on other DBMS by JDBC.
Because there were already some interested in doing the job i closed the job.
Actually none of them has been choosen, but this will be done rather soon.
