Hi, I'm trying to fix the JStor fetcher for the next release. They have made some changes to the site, so the old fetcher doesn't seem to match it at all. I'm trying to make a new one, and I've managed to get part of the way. I can get search hits and find the "download citation" page for a specific hit. From this page there is a BibTeX link with some JavaScript opening a page showing the BibTeX code in the web browser. The url to this page is non-specific, so I assume the cookies are used by the server to see which entry to show. I'm trying to set the correct cookies based on what I receive from the initial connections, but I'm stuck at a HTTP 500 error message from the server. There are also a couple of cookies that my web browser picks up that I'm not sure where to find. I don't know all that much about talking to HTTP servers, so I may be making some basic mistake. If there is anyone knowledgeable that would be willing to help out with the HTTP stuff, it would probably increase the chances of getting the JStor fetcher operational again. -- Morten |
