The citation's preview with accented letters like the \^{\i} character does not work correctly: The character is not displayed. Whereas \`{e} and \'{e} works.

The sequence \^{i} is supported. Is the sequence \^{\i} supposed to give a different character?
I am using the sequence \^{\i} in the author-tag.
\^\i leads to a latex-error: "Undefined control sequence". The preview in JabRev shows a "normal i".
\^{\i} latex-compiles without and leads to the desired result (circumflex) in the output. In the JabRev this character is totally missing.
This bug is not a great thing. I think the priority should be on the "beauty repair"-level, so I reduce the level to 2.
