I have a single network interface with IP address 10.80.35.xx /255.255.240.0 I am unable to browse the network or connect to the server directly. A master browser exists and is reachable by other mundane means. I believe the problem is in the assumed netmask. The application is setting the broadcast address automatically to 10.80.35.255 assuming a network mask of 255.255.255.0 but I am actually using a netmask of 255.255.240.0 and my master browser is at 10.80.32.XX Setting LAN interface to: 10.80.35.3/10.80.35.255 Could not find a master server. Please make sure you have the local IP set to the interface you want to use, and if that does not work try "<default>"... If you still can not find a master make sure that there is one your LAN and submit a bug report. Could not change directory (jcifs.smb.SmbException: Unknown host: C) When I try to do a SMB connect to an 10.80.35.XX address, this is the logged error Setting LAN interface to: 10.80.35.3/10.80.35.255 sortLs: trying Could not change directory (jcifs.smb.SmbException: Unknown host: ..__MSBROWSE__.<01>).
