It would be nice if the api could support a different
name for the downloaded file (FTP).
like : download(remoteFileName, localFileName).

I'm sure that that is something that can be set up, and may
be included in one of the next versions. It shouldn't be that
hard for us to set it up. So you just might get this soon.
