User interface doesn't draw/refresh on Mac OS X

The following bug report is for a Mac OS X 10.3 Server system
running dual G4 processors and the latest version of Java available
for the platform (1.4.2).
When the "run" script is used to launch j-ftp, the application
launches reasonably quickly, but the main window is completely
blank. If you move the mouse over the window a button will
occasionally appear in the interface. Once it appears, it will stay
there.
I know the application is otherwise working because I was able to
get it to connect to an internal FTP server and download a couple
of files, but I had to use the mouse to "paint in" parts of the
interface so I could control the software.

Hello.
If I understand what you are saying, it is that when you start
the application in Mac OS X, no items appear on the screen
until you move the mouse cursor over each one. I'm not sure
why that would happen. I personally have not heard that this
has happened on other platforms. It could possibly be an
issue related to the version of Java that is being used. That is
about all I can think of at this time.
I unfortunately do not have access to a Macintosh that I can
use to test this out, but since is not something that should
happen, we will do what we can to look into this.
Thanks,
J.K.

Can somebody confirm this using 1.45pre3 please? I *guess*
the latest UI changes should have some kind of impact on
this and will close this bug soon if nobody else confirms
this (I have seen things like this happen after strange
compile errors, too, lately)
