It's been *years* since we've made a new stable release, but the time has finally come. Icarus Verilog 0.9.1 is the first release of the 0.9 series! Get the source here:

Icarus Verilog Snapshot 20080905 is now available. This snapshot is bugfix improvement over the 20080830. The latter has most of the interesting changes, and 20080905 then fixes some bugs and ties up some loose ends.

I've released a new shapshot of Icarus Verilog development. This adds new features and a variety of bug fixes. Go to the Icarus Verilog home page at <http://www.icarus.com/eda/verilog> and follow the "snapshots" link to the source download site. The release notes are here:

It has been clear that Icarus Verilog 0.8 enjoys widespread use, so I have addressed a variety of issues to improve the compiler. The source code, release notes and binaries are available here: <ftp://ftp.icarus.com/pub/eda/verilog/v0.8>.

Note that v0.8 is a FORK from the main development trunk. It gets active maintenance attention so long as the development trunk has not resulted in a new stable release of its own.

Icarus Verilog snapsnot 20060618 has been released. This includes many bug fixes over the previous snapshot. Get release notes here:

The 20060409 snapshot is a fairly big change. It fixes a bunch of niggling bugs, but also adds some new features, including some generate capability. Get the snapshot and release notes here:

This is a fairly small change from the previous snapshot, but fixes
some bugs that have been reported. Also, it gets past working with
some of the newer Xilinx unisim models.

The Icarus Verilog snapshot 20051127 is now available. This adds more Verilog support and fixes various bugs. Go to http://www.icarus.com/pub/eda/verilog and follow the links for downloads and snapshots. There are release notes in the download directory.

This snapshot continues to improve the development trunk, working towards a future 0.9 release. Go to the Icarus Verilog home page at http://www.icarus.com/eda/verilog, and follow the "Development snapshot" link to the snapshots directory.

The locally managed ivl-bugs database has become unmanageable due to spammer abuse, and lacked some important features anyhow. Therefore, I have created a sourceforge presence for Icarus Verilog in order to host issue tracking and news. Please bear with the transition, and let me know if you have suggestions/issues.
