Perhaps so. It's been lower then low priority because the existing
iverilog-vpi's (script or mingw-C) have been stable, so the issue of
duplication of effort is aesthetically icky, but pragmatically not
a real worry.

But then again, do the aesthetics really improve if you put a
Rothko and an Escher into a food processor?
