I've already tried to use a known HWND (when using it, i compared it to
GetForegroundWindow result, and it was exactly the same). The result/problem
is the same. I'll see if I can create a minimal c application that
reproduces this problem (instead of the mastodontic piece of code I have
here)

 Hi,

 Instead of using GetForegroundWindow try using a known HWND of your
application, even it is just a hack to test the NATIVEPARENT attribute.

 About MainLoop, if you simply call it with no visible dialogs it will
successfully end. But depending on the context it may lock, although it was
designed not too. In this case we need a sample that reproduces the problem
so we can debug it here to check what's going on.
