#2054 No objects displayed when filtering on external fields

Hello,

When filtering search results using external fields (of external keys), we noticed that no objects were displayed. I've attached a sample extension where we defined a external field and a screenshot where 0 objects were displayed when filtering on that external field.

I have reproduced the issue on a 3.0.0, but not on a 3.0.1 which will be released beginning of May. I am investigating a bit further to be really sure.
The easy test is to search for User based on its Organization, as it is an external field (of an external key).
