Bonjour from one french speaking team to another!

My team and I are currently looking at our options for upgrading from 3.0.3 to 3.2.
It is my understanding that 3.2 Long term service has been released in September (if this is not the LTS, please advise if there is somewhere else I should be looking for LTS).

Our itop instance has several custom extensions that modify and add classes, as well as adding some functionality to certain classes. We have also modified small changes in core to suit our needs. These changes are all documented so they can be reproduced on a new itop environment.

Our main question is, to upgrade to 3.2, can we upgrade straight from 3.0.3, or do we have to upgrade to 3.1 first? (Of course we will go through the process of local environment testing before pushing to prod)

    Merci bcp,
    Jacques

    Hello Jacques,

You can upgrade directly from 3.0.x to 3.2.x, but you must check / apply migration notes of each intermediate versions (3.1, 3.2). These migration notes can be found in the online documentation.

In these migration notes, you'll find if/what you need to change in your custom extensions; as long as other things to check (PHP version, ...)

    Hope it helps,
    Guillaume
