we are using iTop several years now and everything was working properly. Now we have changed the email server (was dovecot / postfix before and now it is a linux based mapi compatible product) and the incoming emails are processed with special chars which make tickets hardly readable. I tried to change the databasse format to utf8mb4-german but without success. The emailserver has no special settings for codebases

If a mail is processed with attachment, everything is fine. Special chars are shown properly. Tickets without attachment change the special chars and for example dots as 07=2E07=2E2025 (07.07.2025).

Where can I change the general format so that every mail is processed like they have an attachment?
