The documentaiton is under way. hopefully we'll have something this week.
In the mean time, the definition of the data model is now in datamodels/2.x/. Inside each module "folder" have a look at the "datamodel.xxxx.xml" files. These are the real source files of the data model. They get "compiled" to model.xxxx.php files in the "env-production" folder when running the setup.

Yes, i have already tried modifying the 2.x/itop-config-mgmt and encountered an error:
"XML datamodel loader: could not find parent node for class / TelephonyCI with parent id PhysicalDevice"
And the only solution i found for this problem was to disregard the changes i made to datamodel.itop-config-mgmt.
I searched for errors/mistakes at 2.x/itop-enduser-devices datamodel and there was none to be found at least for me.

Hello,
For when have you plan to release the toolkit for the v2 of ITop ?
Thanks for your answer.

I've got the same question, because it's really urgent. Modifying the datamodels and then re-installing the iTop instance wont work at all

I'm happy to announce that the Toolkit V2 is available (as a Christmas gift !).
The documentation is not yet complete (will it ever be?), but a first version with the XML reference is on-line:
