    Hi everyone,

I hope all of you are doing great,

So, i'm actually an intern in a company that uses iTop and they asked me if i could hide the passwords that are shown in clear texts in a class (like the model in the attached image) and then after doing that if i could add a way to show the password via a passphrase.
For me it sounds like a lot to do because i'm pretty new at developing and also more at using this software so if anyone is willing to help me do this i would be really grateful !

    Thank you in advance,

    Sincerely,
    Efroza

Out of the box, iTop does not handled this notion of "password" field.
You would need to use a true password keeper tool for this (That's what we do internally).
If that tool offer a web base access to the password of a given object, then you could link them with an extension such as Hyperlink Configurator, in order to provide on every iTop objects having passwords an new action to jump on the Password keeper tool directly in the appropriate place.

Hello Vincent, sorry for the late response !

So if i understand correctly, the method that you are talking about is how i can add a way to show the password that's right ?

Will check that then, thank you !
