I was hopeing somebody could help, maybe I'm just missing something.
We have added several Contracts to the system, and the Contracts have end dates on them. Is it possible to setup a trigger/action that will send out an email to Contact(s) assigned to that Contract when it approaches x amount of days until it expires. This would help us greatly in remembering to contact our providers and customers to renew contracts (if needed).

In the current version of iTop triggers and therefore notifications are limited the objects that have a life cycle defined (i.e. tickets). So it's not possible to use this feature of iTop for sending notifications about contracts.
I would suggest that you look at the "Audit" feature. It will not send emails but you can easily configure an audit to show a report of the contracts that are about to expire.

I ask as when trying to create notifications, i have the option of selecting any class so was wondering if it may now be possible.
