    Hi,
I've a problem with TOOLKIT. I tried to create a small extension (add new
field to servicesubcategory) the setup process found the extension, but the
    TOOLKIT no.
How can I use TOOLKIT to check my xml? It doesn't find the extensions...
it is in the right place in the itop root dir

    thx in advance

As far as I know the recommended procedure is:
    * create an empty extension and install it using setup
    * add desired modifications to your extension and press "update itop code" in toolkit to test your changes

So the extension has to be installed first. For major changes I always use setup. Toolkit is helpful for smaller changes. Sometimes changes don't work after "update itop code" in toolkit and a setup is needed.
