#33 dot directories suddenly being processed

Starting with 1.3, dot-subdirectories are also processed. This makes it difficult to co-locate the mails and the indexing database for search mails (e.g., mail folder in subdirectories, and a .xapian directory for indexing all mail).

It might be a bug that dot-directories are now processed.

as posted to the mailing list, the error message is

Maildir error: found subfolder '.notmuch/xapian', but store 'UW-local' does not specify SubFolders style

which actually already contains the solution.
