The product is definitely not dead. As you can see, there are plenty of changes here http://code.google.com/p/issuetracker/source/list The mailinglist is a bit unfortunate to be honest. Not only is it named "issuetracker-development" which puts people off since they think it's just about hardcore coding on it. Secondly sourceforge's spamfilter sucks a** and I haven't had time to find a better alternative. The current development model at the moment is quick bug fixes when they come in and are too embarrassing to linger. Otherwise feature requests are dealt with when I get a sudden urge to do some coding on it which doesn't happen as often as it used to. Truth is, my company, Fry-IT relies heavily on IssueTrackerProduct for all our client relations and sometimes our clients relations with *their* clients so any problems that crop up in affecting these people get extra attention.
