I named several objects in my developer library with a name pattern that like SRC that are not source PF files. One was a DDMF file or SQL ALIAS. Another was a DSPJRN OUTFILE file. All of these other files are not attributed with PF-SRC.
These other members are either searched in correctly or cause an error to be reported back to the plugin about not being able to open member. CPF3295 "Cannot extract or remove members on DDM file ########## in LLLLLLLLLL". CPF3C20 "Error found by program QUSLMBR."
I suggest trying to find a way to ignore files not attributed as PF-SRC or monitoring for this errr in QUSLMBR API then just ignoring the error.
Thanks, Matt T
Matt, I cannot reproduce the problem. Please explain the steps you take to start the search. Last but not least, what version of iSphere do you use?
Eventually I could reproduce the problem when starting iSphere search for a member filter that includes DDM files.
FYI, I'm on 3.0.3r.
