#28 Preference scope

My question is regarding the iSphere preferences. They are set in the scope of the workspace.
Is there any possibility to make the preferences be the same for all workspaces? Like in advance I can set the preferences and make sure all users will get the same values when RDi start no matter the workspace.

Today there is no option to load the iSphere preferences from a server. By the way, that option (enabled/disabled, server name and directory) would a preference value, too.

But you could go with one of the following options:

a) Create an empty workspace and tweak your iSphere settings. Then give that workspace to everybody, how starts with RDi.

b) Navigate to directory "[workspace].metadata.plugins\org.eclipse.core.runtime.settings\". Save and distribute every file that matches "biz.isphere.*.prefs" to everybody who wants to use the predefined settings.
