Newer versions of iSphere show the profile names of IBM i connections from RSE in the drop down box for target connection selection.
Is it possible to remove those profile names?
Example:
I have to profiles set up: "global" and "user". I use "user" only for special filters, that I create only for myself. "global" is synced from other users. All IBM i connections live in "global". If I want to select one of those connections it was possible to type the first letter and select them. Now they all start with "global:"
In the attached screenshot, you can see one of those connections in the copy source member dialog. It is called "global:TREND"
Hi Christian,
The png shows a blank image. Can you update the screenshot?
Thomas.
I created a new Screenshot with the same content.
Thank you for the updated screenshot. Now I see the issue. I will try to fix that but it would not be easy. So it may take some time.
Fortunately I was a bit wrong, when I estimated the work for changing the presentation of the connection names in the UI. I already changed that so that the next version will honor the "Qualify Connection Names" switch of the Remote Systems view.
Fixed with iSphere 5.1.2.r.
