While composing an e-mail with attachments make sure the

[ ] MIME

check box at the bottom of the composition window is
checked [X]. (Sometimes the check box is not visible
unless you resize the window. This is due to the strange
behaviour of window parts when resizing (no fixed size for
check box area :-( ))

If the box is not checked ishmail will silently ignore
attachments to be sent, iserting lines like the following
instead of the attached file:

"(Included Binary File: no-mime-test.jpg)"

The fact that there is no warning certainly is an unwanted
feature and should probably be removed.
