Use NFS, not iSCSI, if you want to share ext3 like that. Or then use clustered filesystem on top of iSCSI.. gfs, gfs2, ocfs, etc. iSCSI is not NAS, it's a SAN solution for sharing _block_ devices. -- Pasi > > -----Original Message----- > From: George Negoita [mailto:neg...@gm...] > Sent: domingo, 17 de Maio de 2009 22:25 > To: isc...@li... > Subject: Re: [Iscsitarget-devel] iscsitarget sync problem > > Hello! > > On Sun, May 17, 2009 at 11:10 PM, Maverick <mav...@gm...> wrote: > > On a second machine i've configured iscsi tools , everything seems to be > ok, > > the shared disks show up on my second machine, > > > > the problem is, when I make any alteration on the shared disks on the > first > > machine, directly to the disk, like create a new file, etc.. > > > > the second machine doesn't see this alterations L is this normal? > > Are you using a cluster-aware filesystem (ocfs2, gfs(2), etc.)?
