Hi all, I know it's been a while since the last release, but the project is not dead: I just uploaded iScroll2 version 0.26. Changes: - settings daemon overhaul - reload settings whenever driver is reloaded Hopefully, this fixes update the "lost settings after sleep" issue many users were experiencing previously. I also moved the project homepage over to SourceForge. Please update your bookmarks to <http://iscroll2.sourceforge.net/>. Daniel |

Hi all, just uploaded iScroll2 0.25. Changes include: - removed forced loading of settings on daemon startup (which could cause boot-time panics) - enable/disable individual scrolling modes in the iScroll2 pref pane, not the Keyboard & Mouse one - added localization support for pref pane alert boxes - new logo (courtesy of Ryan Fekete) This version seems to work jsut fine for me on Tiger 10.4.1. Hi all, just uploaded a new version of iScroll2. Changes are as follows: changed scroll speed / acceleration to use system-wide facilities changed default settings to better suit the new speed / acceleration mechanism moved back to using the two-finger scrolling controls in the keybaord & mouse pref pane changed installer to work on systems that don't have the BSD subsystem installed changed installer to allow installation on Tiger Warning: iScroll2 has not yet been thoroughly tested on Tiger. If you encounter any issues, please provide feedback so I can work on resolving them. changed permissions on StartupItem to fit the stricter requirements in Tiger added uninstall button to pref pane reverted to using the controls present in the Keyboard & Mouse pref pane. Warning: As in version 0.18, this will cause problems on OS X versions prior to 10.3.8. If you are still using an older version, please consider upgrading or using iScroll2 0.19. Warning: Because of changes in the pref pane, only its English version is included in this release. The other localizations will be readded once they have been updated. As usual, you can get the new version from <http://www-users.kawo2.rwth-aachen.de/~razzfazz/>. Daniel |

Hi all, this release removes the global "TrackpadScroll" property, and should allow scrolling on systems prior to 10.3.8 again. Also, the "Use two fingers to scroll" checkbox in the Keyboard & mouse pref pane will no longer appear, please use the controls in the iScroll2 pref pane instead. Daniel |

Hello all, there was a rather nasty bug in 0.13 that caused erroneous clicks to be=20= generated, causing all sorts of trouble, especially in conjunction with=20= Expos=E9. If you're running 0.13 and experiencing problems (which is = very=20 likely), please upgrade to 0.14 and let me know if the problems=20 persist. Sorry for any trouble this might have caused, Daniel= |
