I've written a new utility program for dumping UART packets from IRIG 106 Ch 10 data files. UART packet data can be dumped in either a hexidecimal representation (good for binary data) or as a string (good for humanly readable text like NMEA GPS strings). This utility program is a Window console program. That means it is run from a Windows command box (i.e. "DOS" shell). These programs will also compile and run from Linux/Unix but binaries aren't provided. I've also made minor updates to the other Windows console program for generating statistics, trimming files, dumping TMATS, dumping 1553, and dumping INS. These programs can be downloaded from the irig106.org software page at... http://www.irig106.org/software.phtml Soon I'll have a major new release of the IRIG 106 library. I also plan on releasing a nifty new Windows based data file trimmer and stripper very soon. As always the latest source code is available from the SourceForge Subversion repository.
