Near the tailor in Lakeside, there is an osprey near a rubics cube who'll tell you that his village is in Lake Milton.
There are two lakes on the map, the north lake has a sign south of it saying "Lake Milton", and the South lake has a sign under it saying "Lake Taylor".
However, it appears that the village is in the southern, making the osprey wrong.
