Hi All: The code at http://www.cs.pdx.edu/~bpugh/mcs7780.html is reasonably mature. It is still in alpha but it seems to work well on most linux distros. I have two zip files: one for pre-2.6.13 and one for 2.6.13 kernels. The main difference between them has to do with the sysfs stuff. I am currently in the process of rewriting that part to make it more sane. I have gotten some feedback that indicates that it is working on the newer kernels and I have tested it on 2.6.12 and 2.6.13 kernels. I haven't received any negative feedback so far. Try it out and let me know if you get stuck trying to install it. I included a readme in the zip file to explain how to install it. Good Luck!
