hi, That is true, my operator assign it (APN) automaticaly when i requested GPRS service through SMS message (although it setted the wrong one - "internet" instead of "internetpro" - i had to correct it manually in the phone settings). otherwise, you can look into phone settings with minicom: you should search for a modem at /dev/ircomm0, and send AT commands.
