I have a PC with a built-in IRDa working on Windows XP. When i tried to connect the phone, nothing happened... I tried to send a file from the phone to PC and then windows found the device, but still there was no established connection.
In the BIOS there are a few options for the infrared adapter- RxD activity;TxD activity and Half/Full DuplexConnection
The possible options for th RxD/TxD are:
Lo,Lo
Hi,Hi
Hi,Lo
Lo;Hi
I'm sure that the Infrared is working because i used it with my previous phone (Samsung SGH-V200)
If somebody had the same problem or knows what are the suitable settings in the bios, please send a post or write to the_eraser@abv.bg
