What I meant was that it wasn't working for me. I've also figured that out - it needed a more recent version of wpa_supplicant. I was running 0.4.x which doesn't implement the AP_SCAN command (it is only in the 0.5.x series). I upgraded to 0.5.x and NetworkManager is now working with WPA, although I did find a bug. If you have BOOTPROTO=dhcp explicitly in the ifcfg-xxx file, NetworkManager will not use DHCP - there is a test with the sense of the comparison wrong. When I get a few minutes I'll test a fix and send it to the NetworkManager folks. Tom |
