Excellent patch. Many people have now tested this patch with great success and
are using this for Checkpoint VPN-1 connection.

There is a debian tracker at
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=650176 to have it added as
debian/patches/* for inclusion in debian/ubuntu.

However, it would make most sense if it was committed upstream and included in a
new ipsec-tools release.
