My version says 2.2beta1
I run Juice on my laptop that I take to work with me
every day. At work it downloads only the new podcasts
and everything works fine.
Sometimes when I take the laptop home and leave it on,
Juice will decided to download dozens of old shows from
4-5 of my feeds, so that I have to delete them all the
next morning.
It only does this at home, never at work. The only
thing different is that the machine is getting a new IP
address on a different internet connection. What the
heck is causing it to kick off this mass download?

I get the duplicate old epiosode issue too. Iwish it
would/could get fixed. I don't change networks like to OP
does. I think it has to do with either the feed redirect or
Juice not being about to see (or remember)that it has
already downloaded those. Kind of like Juice only remembers
files it downloaded for 60 to 90 days then it wants to re
download bunches of old episodes. I just had to delete
about 20 downloaded shows Sunday 7/2 because they were old.
That wastes bandwidth!

I have this problem.
I have juice running at only one location, but it uses a dynamic DSL connection. I am skeptical that the changing ip address could cause this problem.
I do remove files from the download location frequently, but it doesn't seem reasonable that Juice could be checking for existing files and downloading old netcasts because they are missing from the target folder.
Not every feed is affected and weeks go by with no problem, but I might have a 2 or 3 week interval when I get these spurious downloads.
I am using version 2.2.
