I am running iPodder 2.1 on Windows XP (SP2) fully current.
When iPodder downloads a "feed", it will not allow the
user to tell it to download a feed (file) that has the
same name in the future. This is a serious problem
because, tonight, iPodder only downloaded 9 kb of a
file that should be 1,983 kb. I don't know why it only
downloaded that much of the file. Regardless, now
iPodder will not allow me to tell it to repeat the
download (in the hope that the entire file that should
be available has become available). When I try to do
that, it merely shows that the file status is
"downloaded" and there is no way to alter the status.
By the way, iPodder is absolutely the SLOWEST program
that I've ever used for downloading files. Of course,
it is possible that the sites from which it is
downloading files are not transmitting them at a very
high rate of speed, but my computer does have a 4
MB/sec. broadband connection to the internet.

Go to the Cleanup tab, select the name of the feed that
contains the file with the duplicated filename, locate the
file, check the chekbox, click the Delete button. Then
return to the Subscriptions tab, de-select the feed (e.g. by
selecting another feed), re-select the feed, locate the file
you want, check the checkbox, then hit the Check Selected
Feed button in the toolbar.
We're going to revamp the history calculations fairly soon.
Thanks for your patience.
