It seems to be the right protocol; at least, the only available
command "isol setup" seemed to run without error, and the sol
console was still usable via the vendor app solproxyd after.
However, there isn't an "activate" option to isol, only setup.
I know nothing at all about IPMI, is it even faintly possible
that some reasonable amount of editing might allow me to copy the
activate routine from ipmi_sol.c, or are the data structures for
RMCP+ sol -vs- isol too radically incompatible?

Has anyone created an isol activate for ipmitool?
