Each FRU which supports IPMI will have header version number as 0x01. 
Here is the very OLD spec (not aware whether there is any new one, we
usually refer this one only)
Please refer ftp://download.intel.com/design/servers/ipmi/fru1011.pdf

Section 8 - Common Header Format Version is expected to 0x01.
Similarly all header version should be 0x01 if it supports this spec.

If the fru read returns 0xFF (which can be junk value from the device)
then it will display this error.
