I don't know if "turns" is the correct phrase in English. In iperf 2.1.7 and older when the 64-bit udp counters option is enabled, the sent datagram counter shows negative values.
Did you compile from source? If so, I want to check config.h to make sure it's indeed using 64b seq no. We know that 32b seq no will wrap.

Can you try the latest from master or 2-8-1-rc. I think I see the regression and should have fixed it.
