I greatly appreciate iPapers and have been used it quite effectively.
However, I had some troubles in using the exported bibtex file.
For example,
Special characters such as umlauted have to be replaced by TeX command.
An initial of author's first(middle)name should be followed a dot.
Abbreviation of the journal names is 'pubmed' style.
And it will be useful if a list of too many authors can be replaced by "~ and others".
Now I'm preparing to fix these problems.
(The procedures are not smart... it just checks the string and replaces it accoring a given table...)
anyway,
I will send you a patch if you don't have any plan about this matter.
Thank you in advance.

As you feature an iTunes-like GUI it would be very cool to be able to share ones pdf-collection over a local network as you can do with Libraries/Playlists in iTunes.

I tried to download the source files using the command that you gave:
cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/ipapers login
but I was immediately asked for a password. How do I proceed?
Thanks

Thank you very much for being patient (and polite) with me, despite the fact that I should have just read the words on the computer screen more carefully. I am reasonably new to this and my eyes sometiomes skim past the bits I don't understand. By redirecting me to the information, I see that behind the jargon is what appears to be a very clear explanation. I'll see how I go with it. Thanks again.

Hi,
is there a good way to handle papers like technical reports, preprints etc. which are not listed in pubmed?
Thanks in advance, Peter
