Hi,

First, I would like to congratulates the author of this software, that I use heavyly everyday to manage the >3000 papers I need to carry around.

However, I have recently noticed a glitch in the way I was transferring my library from my desktop G5 in the office to my MacBook Pro when I'm on the road.

I used to be able to just copy the iPapers2 folder from one computer to the other (replacing the old one) and everything would work like a charm!

Except that recently, when I do this, I do get my library transferred, BUT I can no longer get the file to open in Preview when I double-click on it (and the ctrl-click way does not work either...).

The only option is to drag and drop all the files again to import, which is quite difficult considering the large number of files...

I just don't understand what is the problem, and why I have done this many times before without problem until now...

Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I am losing a lot of time on this problem everytime I need to travel.

Thanks in advance,
Joce

I have the same problem and I found out the file address is stuck into one computer but not the other.
For example, if one computer's user name is G5, the other is Jo, then when you import, somehow the file address will stick with the original one as "G5/documents/iPaper2/Pubmed.... etc" so when you double click on your "Jo" account, you will see nothing.
I try to fix this problem manually, but every time I close the preference, it reverts back to "G5" as user.
I will appreciate it if the author can fix this problem.
    Thank you!

Does no one develop this software now?
