More than likely, because the file was created with a VERY early version of Excel, it is not backward (or forward in this case) compatible. You may be able to download an add-in from Microsoft to allow the MDB to be converted to a Office 2003 format. _____ From: iom...@li... Subject: RE: [Iometer-devel] Graph wizard cannot be opened in Access 2003 The specific error message is as follows: The database 'C:\Program Files\Iometer.org\Iometer 2003.12.16\Wizard.mdb' needs to be repaired or isn't a database file. Then it prompts me an ask if I want to try and repair the file. If I select yes I get the message: Unrecognized database format 'C:\Program Files\Iometer.org\Iometer 2003.12.16\Wizard.mdb'. I tried downloading and reinstalling the wizard and get the same error so I'm confident my mdb file is not corrupted. _____ From: Daniel Scheibli [mailto:dan...@ed...] Sent: Wednesday, June 23, 2004 11:47 AM To: Gruher, Joseph R; iom...@li... Subject: Re: [Iometer-devel] Graph wizard cannot be opened in Access 2003 The only issue I know of is that the 2003.12.16-setup image contains a corrupt file (see Known Issues page). But this corrupt file does not work with any Access version. Regarding Access 2003 in particular I haven't heared something before. Don't knows what Redmont changed there.
