I recently upgraded to InstallJammer 1.2.9 on Windows XP and accidentally created a quick launch shortcut, which I usually do not use. When I went to delete the shortcut it said:

"Deleting the shortcut to <%AppName%> <%Version%> only removes the icon. It does not uninstall the program..."

I've attached a screen shot to this issue.

This does not appear to be a problem with installers that are generated using InstallJammer 1.2.9, but I thought I'd post this bug to let you know that this is present in the InstallJammer installer.

So, the installer for IJ 1.2.9 created the shortcut with the virtual text unexpanded, but when you create an installer with 1.2.9, it's ok?

Correct. The problem is only present with the "official" InstallJammer application shortcut. This is more of an FYI than a bug with the actual functionality of InstallJammer.

If you USE InstallJammer to CREATE an installer--no problem here.
