This leaves the element visible, while making any edit
on any portion of the element nullified. This could
actually serve the purpose of hiding elements one better
in resolving the face visibility issue dealing with hidden
cp's.
I think with this I'd like to leave the cp's visible, but have them
drawn in a different fashion, they would then have to be culled
from the selection queue, but I think I'm getting the hang of
things. I want to wait for feedback on the changes I've made
so far.
