For this, he has developed an OWL infectious disease ontology (now in Version 2 from http://biocaster.nii.ac.jp/index.php? page=downloads). I have not yet had time to check the degree to which this overlaps with IDO. I have also alerted him to your September meeting, and hope he can attend.
