#4 open_basedir restriction

I am running into the following error in various forms.
Warning: open_basedir restriction in effect. File is in
wrong directory

I assume that is some sort of security problem with my
ISP's settings. Is there something in the script that can
be tweaked to overcome this?
My inclination is just dump all the files back into one
folder and try to correct the paths but I don't know
what other problems this may create.

I am not 100% sure, but it looks like it that you have to
edit the main datenator dir to 777 acces , meaning you ftp
to your site and mod the map acces to full acces (i might be
wrong about the 777, could be 755 as well)

The only thing that bothers me is the error "file is in
wrong directory", it could be that you made a mistake
edditing the absolute ~ thing (cant remember how the program
calls it, it's the first line you can edit in the install.php)
