It is indeed a great move.  Thank you so much for releasing the font 
under GPL. 
This will help us to further localize several applications.  This is to 
record by appreciation on behalf of FSF  India.

Indeed this was the first OTF font that I have enjoyed editing telugu 
text in yudit.
I will soon test the new version and send my feedback.
