The Future of Marathi in the Information Age

What is the future of Marathi in the Information Age? More importantly, what
is the future of Marathi speaking indviduals in the Information Age? Will
they be excluded from the digital revolution if they do not speak English?
To redress this situation, the Indic Computing Consortium invites
individuals and organizations concerned about the future of Marathi in the
information age to a meeting on Saturday, 24th May, 2003 at 6.00PM. The
meeting aims to bring together technologists and language experts on a
common platform to identify solutions that can bring the Marathi speaking
masses into the mainstream of the digital age.
