Can anybody point me to > right direction? > Since above fonts are unicode ones, you need unicode keymaps, best are the Inscript keymaps, available at http://www.indlinux.org/keymap/keymaps.php XFree86 4.3 onwards has all the inscript keymaps included, older X ( 4.1 , 4.2 ) also have devanagari map. See /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xkb/symbols/dev (you can find others like tam, guj, gur, kan, tel etc also ) I personally like inscript, you can type your name in other scripts too :), apart from that once learnt its very easy to type & fast. Initially many prefer phonetic/romanised systems but in long run if you want to write in your language inscript is the best. Regards, Karunakar --__--__-- |
